Alan Cohen is one of my favorite authors to read as he summarizes some of the most amazing spiritual works making them easy to understand. I came across this passage in his book the Tao Made Easy. It really made me realize that even hardships that force us into a new way are for our benefit. I can’t recommend this book and A Course in Miracles made easy enough. They are amazingly powerful books. Thank you, Alan Cohen, for making the complex easy and impactful in shifting me to a better place with more peace and closer to God than I ever was. When I wanted spiritual growth, these books found me and have inspired me.
