Ignite your spirit

Commandment #5: Though shall not kill. Seems like a pretty easy commandment to keep. In the physical sense, yes it is. I will not murder another person. In the spiritual sense, this may be a bit different.

In numerous places, the Bible refers to the ultimate death as one of the spirit. Christ overcame death. So truly there is no physical death only spiritual death. Sadly, we are the murderers of our spirit, which is worse than a physical death in my opinion.

How do you kill your spirit? You kill your spirit by squishing your dreams or the dreams of others. When you take away hope, the spirit dies. When you ridicule yourself or others, make yourself or others feel not good enough or at fault in any way, the spirit forgets how perfectly we are created. When you give your negative opinion when it isn’t requested, that becomes hurtful and kills the spirit.

Why is it that people feel they have to cut others down? Sometimes it’s because they know no other way to treat people. Maybe because they want to stop them from the greatness that they wanted for themselves, jealousy. Whatever the reason that you tear yourself apart or someone else, stop. Our role in this world to ourselves and others is to love and support. Do not murder the spirit.

The glorious resolution to this is that the cross is our symbol of hope. Christ died on the cross, rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven proving that despite being betrayed, tortured, and murdered by his fellow man, there is always hope because God conquers all! You will never die! Hallelujah!

Your solar plexus at the base of the ribcage is your confidence center. This area should glow brighter than any area of your body, radiating with the immense potential you have to do God’s purpose! Shine with his immense light. The version of This Little Light of Mine was created for the Voyage to HEAL. I share it with you today to inspire you to ignite your spirit.

THE ORGANIC, LIMITLESS YOU: LET IT SHINE.

This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.

This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.

Ignite your light and do what you were meant to do!

Voyage to HEAL Weekly Task

Stretch: Unwind and let your true self be expressed! When we release the restrictions in our entire body, our organs from the brain to the rectum will do what they are supposed to do and all will be happy! Stretch your arms to the side, breath, and without thought, let your body move.

Exercise: Hold a plank position with your core activated either leaning against the wall, a table, or on the floor. Your knees can be bent to touch the floor as your body is angled or you can be in quadruped. Start where you are able, but feel how powerful you are. Hold for 30-60 seconds.

Habitual Change: Stand tall and proud when you speak to people and look them in the eye. You’ll never say something you wouldn’t want to if you are looking directly at them. This also lessens the chance they will say something unintentionally. The soul is seen through the eyes.

Perspective enlightenment: I lift myself up!

Journaling option: How great am I?

This week’s blog post coincides with week 9: Leg Releases/ God’s Plan. You can purchase this week in the store on the webpage.
