Stretching the SI joint #1

Stretches for the Sacrum

The sacrum is not a large moving joint as are the arms and legs. At first, no movement may be felt. As you proceed with the following stretches, more subtle movement will be felt in the pelvis and the hips. The sacrowedgy device is a highly effective tool to relieve SI discomfort as well as back, hip, and knee pain. Below are three stretches to mobilize the sacrum. Move slowly and listen to your body. Stretch only to the point of mild discomfort. Knock on pain’s door, but do not enter.

Sacral Stretch #1: Place a rolled up towel or soft releaser ball under the sacrum feeling the pelvis rock toward the floor. If desired, place the feet on a chair to increase this stretch.dural tube #2
